Duties/Responsibilities: The Senior Staff Accountant position will perform a variety of different accounting duties in our corporate office. The individual must demonstrate strong accounting fundamentals and have some experience in a variety of accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, treasury functions, tax, and managing projects. The position is best suited for a highly motivated individual with experience in a collaborative environment; someone who thrives on being challenged and working closely with their colleagues.
Month-end close activities and reporting.Complete journal entries and perform account reconciliations.Review of intercompany transactions.Assist with the annual audit process and prepare necessary schedules.Assist in the preparation of ad hoc financial schedules and reports.Perform the daily treasury function of cash receipts and disbursements and timely cash account reconciliations.Produce and distribute recurring reports (Daily sales, daily cash movement, etc.).Assist in documentation of SOPs. Skills/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting with 7+ years of general accounting experience.SAP experience in a similar role is required.A valid CPA license is required.Experience with accounting in the manufacturing industry is preferred.Proficient with the use of Microsoft excel and word is required.
