Your Impact As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in fostering a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and other engineering teams. You will act as a liaison between these teams and executive leadership to ensure alignment between technical initiatives and business goals. Set and edit technical direction directly in programs and indirectly in reviews, communications, and documentation Provide architectural guidance to technical leaders Facilitate technology lifecycle and strategy roadmap Evaluate/review and improve existing systems and procedures Advise the VP on technical matters and strategic direction What You Bring Culture of Excellence: Successfully engendered a culture of engineering excellence across a broad organization. The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 198,400 in the lowest geographic market and USD 297,600 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
