Simulation at Zoox is a diverse group of artists and engineers who create virtual worlds to test and train autonomous vehicles. Our fully automated simulation tools test various modalities in plausible 3d worlds each time data changes.We are looking for a Senior Technical Artist to lead the development of Houdini based procedural buildings that are used in our 3D Simulator and Synthetic Data pipelines. This individual will drive new features that improve our building systems while maintaining existing functionality. We'll be growing our database with new building types and adding support for things like attachments, variations, fully procedural residential buildings or interior rendering. The salary will range from $164,000 - $266,000. A sign-on bonus may be part of a compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
