Senior Structural Engineer

Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer With a top MEP Engineering and Architecture Firm in the Detroit area You Will: Lead project structural engineering team; provide mentorship and oversight of work given to junior staff
Collaborating and coordinating with other technical disciplines
Construction administration, including shop drawing review and responding to Contractor questions
Analysis and design of various building framing and foundation systems in structural steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry
Development of construction documents, building information model, drawings, and specifications; meeting the scheduled project issue dates
Assist in performing quality assurance and quality control reviews
Assist in developing proposals
You Have: Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering
10+ years experience
Professional Engineer Designation
Revit experience preferred
RISA-3D and RISAFloor experience preferred
Project leadership skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in a dynamic team setting with overtime as required
