This position is in the Robotics Surgical Technology (RST) organization and reports to the Director of Refurbishment Operations. The role will also have significant interaction with and help support some of the work of the Service Operations team. The preferred location for this position is North Haven, CT. Travel to/from this site will be required and is estimated to be 10-20%
A Day in the Life
As the Senior Supply Chain Analyst – Reverse Logistics, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing the efficient management of inventory returns for the Robotic Surgical Technologies business unit. While activities will primarily support refurbishment operations, this role will also assist with facilitating other asset reuse streams. You will help manage/facilitate product returns, complete SAP system transactions and setup for service operations, resolve inventory and transaction conflicts, and identify opportunities to improve and streamline process elements to help drive increased inventory accuracy. This role will work closely with cross-functional partners including Finance, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Regional Service, and Distribution.
You will:
Lead development and implementation of inventory management processes and procedures associated with downstream assets identified for refurbishment and other asset utilization opportunities.
Develop KPIs and reports for inventory monitoring and projecting monthly levels.
Manage material movements and delivery for equipment returns to contract manufacturer for refurbishment.
Collaborate closely with Service Operations, Field Service, and Quality teams to meet refurbishment program needs.
Deliver operational results to internal stakeholders and business leaders.
Provide input into product forecasts for refurbishment of spare parts.
Drive cross-functional improvement in systems and activities related to return planning, goods receipt, return material authorizations, material movements between sites, forecasting, warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
Support SAP business functions such as, but not limited to, failure analysis, service operations, returns management, refurbishment, intercompany returns, preventive maintenance, and logistics for other service and repair activities.
Provide SAP and peripheral systems support and end-user training for support personnel.
Identify opportunities for automation and/or system-based process improvements to reduce manual activities and maintenance and coordinate with cross-functional teams for implementation.
Support the creation of material returns not correctly processed within ERP systems to ensure alignment between physical inventory and system/financial inventory.
Support development of processes and procedures that improve material workflow.
Research returned product to confirm clinical designation, use history, reason for return, complaint record (if applicable), and internal failure analysis findings in order to assess candidacy for refurbishment. Compile findings to share with contract manufacturer.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
2+ years of hands-on SAP experience, preferably configuring one or more SAP modules including Sales & Distribution (SD), Logistics (LE), and Customer Service (CS).
Experience with documentation and delivery of training procedures and SOP's.
Nice to Have
Planning and inventory management experience.
Knowledge of distribution, logistics, warehousing, and transportation in a highly regulated industry.
Proficient use of Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio).
Experience establishing key performance indicators.
Highly motivated, detail-oriented with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to cultivate an environment focused on customer satisfaction through building productive external and internal relationships.
Experience with hands-on utilization of current supply chain software applications and systems.
Strong project planning/management capabilities/skills.
Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with business leaders and stakeholders.
Knowledge of Finance, Distribution, and Service operations.
Experience working in a fast paced, cross-disciplinary environment.

The provided base salary range is used nationally in the United States (except in Puerto Rico and certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
