This position will coordinate with other areas of the university and act as a resident Linux expert. The Linux Systems Administrator will build solutions that meet the performance needs of the service, the financial and security needs of the organization, and the business need of the stake holder. This position is responsible for researching new technologies and meeting with vendors to better design Linux based solutions with the best stewardship of SMU resources.
