You. Platinum Technologies currently has an opportunity for a seeking Senior Systems Engineer of varying levels of experience to support the development and integration of various intelligence capabilities into a test and subsequently operational environment. You will be a member of a project team responsible for designing and maintaining multiple DevOps pipelines integrating and deploying numerous components into the larger system infrastructure. Deployment will be across multiple networks into hybrid architectures consisting of both local and cloud infrastructures
This role is on-site in Herndon OR Chantilly, VA. Candidate must hold an active DoD TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI with polygraph. What you get to do.
•Lead system architecture design and integration across multiple environments (cloud and on-premises).
•Act as a product owner, managing system components and ensuring they meet project and customer requirements.
•Develop, maintain, and oversee technical and user documentation with a focus on accuracy and clarity.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, network, and DevOps engineers) to ensure seamless system integration.
•Troubleshoot system issues and communicate with operational team and assist in addressing issues promptly.
•Ability to lead and improve processes through cross functional teams to streamline communication, configuration management, documentation and deliveries
Required Qualifications: •Must have a current/active TS/SCI clearance.
•Must be willing to work in the office 5 days a week in Herndon, VA.
•Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (4 years of additional experience may be substituted for a degree).
•7+ years of experience in systems engineering, including system architecture, integration, and deployment.
•Proven track record as a product owner, managing system components and aligning them with project and customer objectives.
•Strong experience in developing and maintaining both technical and user documentation.
•Familiarity with cloud infrastructures, hybrid environments, and system optimization practices.
Desired Skills: •Experience with Agile methodologies and working within cross-functional teams.
•Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
•Familiarity with DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins) and system deployment methodologies.
•Domain knowledge in defense and intelligence systems is highly preferred.
