The Senior Systems Integration Engineer will report to the Head of Application Development and will be leading the pipettor fluidics and layouts team. You'll own the development of all liquid handling workflows, layouts and kits across all upcoming applications currently identified in our product portfolio. Collaborating closely with application development, manufacturing and software engineering teams, you'll tackle complex challenges, optimize processes, and implement scalable solutions to expand platform capabilities. This is a critical role that combines strategic vision with hands-on execution—ideal for a builder-type who thrives on making a visible impact in a growing team.
\n Day-to-Day Responsibilities & First Year Expectations:Lead Automated Liquid Handling Development: Design, test, and optimize liquid handling workflows and parameters (liquid classes).Create and refine deck layouts and reagent volumes for NGS workflows, ensuring seamless integration with kit development and manufacturing.Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with Application Development team members, R&D, and manufacturing teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.Identify and implement new features/enhancements in collaboration with software teams.Maintain detailed records to inform decisions and ensure cross-team transparency. \nThis is a full-time position that requires a significant amount of in-person work and collaboration onsite at our Seaport Office in Boston, MA. If you are unable to relocate or commute to the Boston MA area, this role won't be a match.
