Senior Tax Accountant

Senior Tax Accountant (Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000) LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant for a well-established company in the sports manufacturing industry, based in Florence, Texas.
This role involves overseeing tax compliance and supporting various tax and accounting functions to ensure that the organization remains aligned with relevant laws and regulations.
In addition to holding a CPA certification, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing and filing tax returns across multiple jurisdictions and excellent project management skills.

Responsibilities Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns, including sales, property, and ATF FET taxes.Collaborate with external CPAs to manage all tax-related projects and ensure accuracy and compliance.Review tax documents and filings for accuracy and completeness before submission.Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure tax compliance across the organization.Stay current with tax laws and regulations through ongoing training and research.Maintain detailed and organized records of all tax documents and correspondence.Support tax planning projects by conducting research on various tax-related issues.Assist the Controller with audits, financial statement preparation, and other accounting tasks. Client Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA certification is mandatory.Experience with tax preparation software is preferred.
