Job Summary:
The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the tax reporting and compliance within the organization.
This role involves preparing tax returns, performing tax research, and providing strategic tax planning.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a deep understanding of tax regulations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns.
Manage and coordinate tax audits.
Research and analyze tax issues and developments.
Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Provide strategic tax planning and identify tax savings opportunities.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting.
Prepare and review quarterly and annual tax provisions.
Assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting & public accounting CPA is a Big Plus Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Proficiency in tax software and MS Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
