Senior Tax Accountantmanager

We are a successful small, growing, accounting, tax and business advisory firm with an immediate opening for a CPA with 5+ years current public accounting experience.

We are open to full-time and part-time applicants.

Excellent opportunity for highly motivated individual with the potential to lead to an equity interest in the firm.

Experience required:

CPA desired

At least 5 years recent public accounting experience

Job responsibilities:

Preparation and review of: Individual, Corporate, Partnership, Fiduciary, Multi State individual and business tax returns.
Payroll and sales tax returns.

Preparation of tax projections and tax planning for individuals and business entities.

Resolution of client tax notifications and inquires by the IRS or State Revenue Authorities.

Assisting clients with client accounting.

Ability to supervise other staff and have strong organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and develop relationships with client personnel.

Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.

Possess critical thinking, time management and decision-making skills.

Proficiencies:

Microsoft office suite

QuickBooks desktop and online versions

Ultra Tax and Thomson Reuters products a plus
