Senior Tax Manager - Bilingual Japanese We are seeking a skilled Bilingual Japanese Senior Tax Manager to join our well-established and highly profitable CPA firm. Our firm is renowned for its expertise in international tax services, particularly serving Japanese clients. This vital role involves managing complex tax issues, conducting tax research, and building enduring client relations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tax regulations, a knack for training and guiding staff, and a fluency in Japanese to seamlessly cater to our client base. Salary: DOE per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reviewing and preparing Federal and multi-state tax returns for C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, high net worth individuals, bankruptcy, and trusts and estates.Handling complex tax and accounting issues efficiently.Performing in-depth tax research on basic and complex situations.Developing and sustaining relationships with clients to ensure continuous collaboration.Identifying opportunities for tax planning and consulting to add value to client services.Leading, training, and managing staff members while promoting a culture of excellence and growth.Minimum Position Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Tax, or Business Administration required.At least 8 years' tax experience, preferably with a public accounting firm.Must hold a current CPA license.Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail.Demonstrates self-direction and a robust entrepreneurial work ethic.Able to understand and articulate complex tax and accounting issues.Advanced technical skills in tax preparation and review, reflecting high work quality.Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future.Preferred Qualifications: —Skills: Excellent communication skills in both English and Japanese.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Capacity to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.Leadership skills with a focus on team development and empowerment.Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Competitive retirement plan with employer contributions.Generous paid time off for personal, sick, and vacation days.Continuous professional development opportunities.Supportive and collaborative culture fostering professional growth.
