We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our growing finance team. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success and growth of our company. The Senior Tax Manager will play a key role in managing and coordinating all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and reporting. This role will also involve working closely with other departments to ensure that all financial operations are in line with legal requirements and company policies.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes. Manage and facilitate IRS income tax audits preparing responses, creating schedules, etc. Conduct research and planning according to applicable tax laws. Manage the corporate tax process. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Prepare/Review tax returns, extensions, tax planning calculations for the corporate entities. Manage and mentor members of tax team to greater levels of effectiveness and engagement. Review tax accruals and tax working papers in preparation of financial statements. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to manage audits and queries. Maintain and update the company's tax database. Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals. Identify tax savings in prospective acquisition scenarios.
Job Details
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a tax manager or public accountant role. Proven work experience as a tax manager. Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns. Knowledge of tax software and MS Office. Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems. Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships. Strong leadership and personnel management skills. Analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong understanding of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance.
