Senior Tax Manager

Alliance Resource Group has exclusively partnered with a boutique tax and wealth management firm in South OC that is looking to hire a senior tax manager. Ideally, this senior tax manager will be one of the firm's next partners.

Job Description ("What You'll Do")Facilitate and manage the preparation and review of Individual and Business Tax ReturnsReview tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projectionsManage members of the tax team as they prepare components of the tax returns and other tax filings/documentsPrepare complex tax returns and identify tax planning opportunitiesComplete continued education courses and stay up to date on tax lawCollaborate and coordinate with wealth management team to maximize value-add servicesQualifications ("What You'll Bring")Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Certified Public Accountant (CPA)Masters in taxation, a plus not a necessityMinimum of 6+ years of experience in tax work and accounting software experienceWorking knowledge of Lacerte and QuickBooks (helpful, but not required)Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong customer service skillsMust be well-organized, accurate, and detail-orientedAbility to multi-task, work well under pressure, and meet deadlinesBenefitsProfit sharing contributionCompany-paid Medical InsurancePaid time offPaid relocation assistance
