Job Description:The Strategic National Solutions Section is seeking a motivated Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME)/Systems Engineer or Field Software Engineer to engage with our primary customers operating out of San Diego and Joint Base Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. Work with primary customers to define, scope, and architect new capabilities, and pursue new and innovative solutions to AOR-specific challenges by leading technical efforts as they emerge. Support NTS team with design, prototyping, proposing new Sensor-to-Shooter capabilities in support of current and future customers. This position is meant to be a hybrid software engineer/field systems engineer and both supports software development tasks as well as onsite customer support at various Government locations in Hawaii.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesAct as Parsons' OTH-T Liaison Officer for AOR activities and eventsCoordinate with AOR entities to gather data link, communications, track management, collection, and fires requirements for enhancements to Parsons' capabilitiesProvide technical and operational guidance to Parsons' engineering teams in ColoradoSupport unclassified testing and evaluation activities for Link-16 and IBS message certificationsSupport configuration, training, and/or operations of relevant software components for AOR user communitiesSupport PMs and tech leads with monthly CDRLs and reportsLead Parsons' support efforts for data transfer to and from AOR as requiredUnderstand Parsons' capabilities relevant to AOR and assist in the rapid development/adaptation/deployment of new capabilitiesWork directly with Parsons PMs to integrate Parsons' capabilities across AOR, serving as our "local expert" in terms of local DoD Exercises, knowing COCOM expectations, and tracking relevant IPLs / Capability GapsEstablish a routine presence with AOR Staffs, Service Component and other Customers, relevant to Parsons' AOR Campaign StrategyFacilitate discussions for operational integration of Parsons' capabilities with AOR customersAssist in the engagement of Senior AOR and Service Component leaders regarding relevant Parsons' capabilities to mission objectivesDepending on candidate experience and skillset; be able to support software development tasks as directed by the software development team. These can include identifying and fixing software bugs/vulnerabilities and developing new featuresExperienceMust have a Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of experience in lieu of degreeMust have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with military forces/missions and/or DoD enabling applications/systemsMust have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in or around AOR, knowledgeable of DoD missions in AORMust have an active TS/SCI clearanceMinimum Clearance Required to Start:Top Secret SCI

Salary Range:$117,000.00 - $210,600.00
