Responsibilities
• Conduct terrestrial ground-site development and sustainment for earth-moon and earth-sun communications• Lead project management and technical leadership for ground-site development projects• Direct execution of all aspects of the projects and ensure master plans and schedules are followed• Manage a team of direct reports and identify, analyze, and track program risks• Lead internal program reviews and communicate project status to customers• Collaborate with stakeholders and international partners to meet program requirements• Ensure appropriate processes and documentation across functional areas• Occasionally travel to NASA sites for project-related activities
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Math, or applicable technical discipline (or Master's degree) and 12+ (or 10+) years of related experience• Experience in US Government project execution, IT security, and interfacing with customers• Experience in space communication systems development, integration, and testing• Experience in procurement and subcontract management• Proficiency with Microsoft tools such as Project, Excel, and Word• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
