Senior Technical Writer

We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join our team in developing a comprehensive Technical Assistance Implementation Guide to support a federal client, specifically within the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), under the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The primary focus of this role will be on creating detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline technical support processes and ensure consistency across various support scenarios.
\n Required Qualifications:Technical Writing Experience: Minimum of 3 years in technical writing, with a strong background in developing SOPs and technical support documentation.Federal Civilian Agency Background: Prior experience supporting federal civilian agencies (e.g., HHS, NIH) is highly desired.Technical Knowledge: Ability to comprehend and document technical processes relevant to technical support operations.Exceptional Communication Skills: Skilled in liaising with clients and technical teams to gather information, clarify requirements, and produce precise documentation. Key Responsibilities:Technical Documentation Development: Create clear, concise, and comprehensive SOPs and support documentation tailored for the technical support team.Client Collaboration: Engage directly with the client to understand specific operational needs and technical requirements, translating these into actionable documentation.Implementation Guide Creation: Develop a user-friendly Technical Assistance Implementation Guide that will outline processes, workflows, and response protocols for technical support staff.Quality Assurance: Ensure all documentation meets high standards for accuracy, relevance, and usability within the context of federal agency operations.
