Salary: $42-$56/hr Job Summary:The Senior Telecommunications Analyst will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, and maintenance of telecommunications systems supporting government and public safety agencies. The ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of experience in telecommunications system analysis and design, including programming and program design of systems for billing, trouble ticket management, service order entry, and configuration management. This role involves critical planning and problem-solving to ensure efficient operations and support functions. Key Responsibilities:Perform detailed planning, analysis, design, and maintenance of telecommunications systems for government and public safety agencies.Analyze and develop solutions for telecommunications support functions, including billing, trouble ticket management, service order entry, and configuration management systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure telecommunications systems meet operational needs and adhere to regulatory standards.Design, develop, and implement both manual and automated tools to support telecommunications system operations.Conduct system performance evaluations and recommend improvements to optimize system reliability and efficiency.Support ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancements for existing telecommunications infrastructure.Prepare comprehensive reports, system documentation, and recommendations based on analysis and findings.Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in telecommunications to drive continuous improvements in system performance and reliability.Required Qualifications:At least five (5) years of experience in telecommunications system analysis, design, programming, and program design.Experience working with billing systems, trouble ticket management, service order entry, and configuration management systems.Strong knowledge of telecommunications systems supporting government and public safety agencies.Proficient in the use of both manual and automated tools for telecommunications support.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on improving system performance and resolving complex issues.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in telecommunications system design and support.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in telecommunications systems specific to public safety agencies.Proficiency in relevant programming languages and software tools.Certifications in telecommunications or related fields.Education:Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
