Senior Tool Designer

Under direct supervision, the candidate will collaborate with a team of production engineers and new product development groups to develop new production tooling designs and address existing tooling issues using CAD software. These new designs and modifications will be released into the company database using PLM software by the design group. Additionally, the candidate will provide technical assistance to the tooling fabrication department.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills Requirements
Create 3D models and drawings using parametric CAD software, preferably Creo.
Thorough understanding of current Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing practices.
Ability to take measurements using basic tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Experience with PLM software, preferably Teamcenter.
Knowledge of various manufacturing processes.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
Undergraduate degree in Engineering and a minimum of 4 years of related experience, totaling 6-10 years of experience.
