The Senior Trade Risk Analyst is an experienced trade analyst with detailed knowledge of the managed accounts business, specifically in separately managed accounts and overlay management.
The Senior Trade Risk Analyst is responsible for the oversight of the daily audit, review, and verification of trading department responsibilities.
This individual's primary role is to ensure that all instructions from model providers, clients, and other parties are being completed in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.
This person should be extremely detail-oriented and serve as a role model to other Trade Analysts.
What you'll do:Model Change Trading ReviewVerify investment actions from model providers are being responded toVerify all model change activity has been performed accuratelyVerify model only programs have been updated accuratelyVerify and audit trade details from investment actions (ticker, weight, and side)Monitor and review investment action working pricesAccount Specific Trading ReviewVerify new accounts and styles changes have been tradedVerify withdrawals and deposits have been processed and liquidations have taken placeTax Harvesting – monitor, process, and verify all requested losses/gains have been traded accuratelyEnsure accounts are being reviewed and traded for position/sleeve/allocation driftModel Reconciliation and ReviewManagement of the weekly reconciliation of SMA models and Portal modelsMake drift adjustment recommendations and verify changes are made timely and accuratelyGeneral Responsibilities and RequirementsCollaboratively support daily departmental functions in a lead capacityContribute to general risk management and process/procedural improvementsSupport and help reinforce a team-based environment with focus around policy and procedural adherenceWhat you'll bring:Bachelor's degree required.
Graduate degree and/or CFA or other professional designation desirable.3-5 years' experience with SMA/UMA/portfolio managementExperience with multiple trade order systems including Vestmark, APL, etc.Experience with market data platforms (Bloomberg, FactSet, etc.

In accordance with the California salary transparency law, the expected annual base salary for this San Francisco, CA, United States-based position is $55,000.00 - $95,000.00.
Actual annual base salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, and other job-related factors.
However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include discretionary bonuses and other Natixis sponsored benefit programs.
