Senior Ux Designer Medical Device Experience

Mandatory Skills Description: • Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, or a related field.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in UX design and user research• Experience conducting user research, including customer interviews, usability testing, and creating user journey maps.• Familiarity with hardware/software integration and the challenges associated with designing for both.• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools.
We use Figma and Miro.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex research findings into actionable design solutions.• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas and influence stakeholders effectively.• Knowledge of software development processes and the ability to work closely with development teams to ensure design implementation.• Strong proficiency in interaction design, with a solid understanding of user-centered design principles. Nice-to-Have Skills Description: • Experience working in a regulated industry - i.e.
medical devices, government, aviation, automotive, aerospace, etc.• Experience in the medical product industry, including familiarity with IEC 62366-1 (application of usability engineering to medical devices), FDA Human Factors Guidance, and IEC 62304 (software lifecycle processes for medical devices).• Familiarity with UI kits and/or design systems and maintaining design consistency across products.• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices in medical device design.• Experience with Jira and Agile methodology.• Experience designing for 3D applications or in 3D modeling
