About the job: Full-time position Friday-Monday swing shift4/10Triaging incoming patientsAssist DVM with patient assessment, treatment, and proceduresPartner with the patient care team regarding treatment plans, client communication, and nursing care concernsProvide client education including, but not limited to: home care instructions, medications (indications, adverse reactions), and general wellness updates on hospitalized patientsProvide monitoring and nursing care to hospitalized patientsInduce and monitor general anesthesia and sedation proceduresRecord and deliver organized rounds, discuss cases, and gather additional information as necessaryPerform in-house laboratory testing and prepare samples for outside laboratory testingCompensation Range:RVT: $25.00 - $40.00 per hourSVA: $25.00 - $36.00 per hour$8,000 Hiring Bonus for Registered Veterinary Technicians and $6,000 Hiring Bonus for Veterinary Assistants (for full-time, new to SAGE hires) for overnight roles.$7,000 Hiring Bonus for Registered Veterinary Technicians and $5,000 Hiring Bonus for veterinary assistants for swing shift roles.$6,000 Hiring Bonus for Registered Veterinary Technicians and $4,000 Hiring Bonus for day shift roles.Shift differentials available! $3/hour swing shift, $5 overnight shiftWho you are: You are a Registered Veterinary Technician or Senior Veterinary Technician with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
