This is what#LifeAtBNYMellonis all about. We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our ETF team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA - Hybrid.In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Develop applications in languages including, but not limited to Java, SQL, Angular, Spring Boot using IntelliJ, and additional Open-source integrated development environment (IDE) toolsDesign and development of ETF applicationsCollaborate with technical and business teams to determine technical requirements and provide system design specifications based on business functional requirementsWork with technical team members to evaluate and recommend new technologies and standardsDevelop test strategy, executes unit and systems test plans, verifying and documenting the resultsAnalyzes production applications and services issues and determines the most efficient and economical programming solutionsWorks at the highest technical level of all phases of applicationsEvaluate and operate the day-to-day activity and production issuesPerform change management activities such as source code management, creating activity records for production implementation, creating implementation plansOwn feature development throughout all phases from analysis to production releaseFully participate in the relevant scrum eventsCollaborate as a member of the team undertaking the shared commitment towards completion of the team's sprint goalsAccept joint responsibility with the team for converting the Product backlog into 'Done' potentially releasable incrementsCollaborate with key business and technology stakeholders to define functional and technical designWork closely with software engineering team and senior leadership to design and implement end-to-end solutionsLead and/or participate in project efforts using an Agile development methodologyCollaborate with QA to develop comprehensive and appropriate test strategies for each releaseDevelop system and training documentation as neededMust be able to work flexible hours as needed to support project timelines and deliver efforts on timeProvide technical programming support or provide subject matter expertise to other team members as needed.To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required9-11 years of experience in software development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plusJob holder must have understanding interdependencies and business impact of future IT plansMust have prior lead experience selecting and implementing vendor-specific methodologies and prior consulting experience with structured methodologies. Must have broad experience with multi-platform development tools and toolkits At BNY Mellon, our inclusive culture speaks for itself.
