Looking for Sr. Vice President of Human Resources. Salary is: 230-280K; plus 20-30% bonus.
**Job Summary:**
The Senior Vice President of Human Resources (SVP of HR) is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. This role involves overseeing all HR functions, including talent management, organizational and performance management, training and development, compensation, and employee relations. The SVP of HR will play a crucial role in shaping the corporate culture, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring the company attracts, retains, and develops top talent.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Strategic Leadership:**
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Provide strategic direction and thought leadership on organizational and workforce planning.
2. **Talent Management:**
- Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Lead succession planning efforts to ensure leadership continuity and employee development.
3. **Performance Management:**
- Design and implement performance management systems that drive high performance.
- Oversee employee appraisal and feedback processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
4. **Compensation and Benefits:**
- Develop and oversee competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain employees.
- Ensure compensation practices are aligned with market trends and compliant with legal requirements.
5. **Employee Relations:**
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Address employee grievances and mediate workplace conflicts to maintain a harmonious work environment.
6. **Training and Development:**
- Develop and implement comprehensive training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Promote continuous learning and professional development across the organization.
7. **Compliance and Risk Management:**
- Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Mitigate risks related to employment practices and manage legal and regulatory HR issues.
8. **Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):**
- Champion DEI initiatives and promote a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
- Develop and implement policies and programs that support diversity and inclusion objectives.
9. **HR Operations:**
- Oversee the management of HR operations, including HRIS systems, payroll, and reporting.
- Ensure efficient and effective HR service delivery across the organization.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
-Must have experience overseeing an HR department for a company with 2500 employees or more
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably as a VP or SVP of HR.
- Extensive knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with HRIS and talent management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
