About the Role The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President of Human Resources (SVP of HR) to play a pivotal role in the development of a best-in-class HR function.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the HR department, ensuring its effective and efficient operation, and will be a key advisor to senior management on HR strategy.
This dynamic and experienced leader will be expected to have a strong background in Learning & Development (L&D) experience in building an in-house University, and a proven track record of managing a team of 10+ HR professionals.
The role also involves the development and implementation of strategic HR initiatives that support the company's growth objectives, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture, and promoting employee engagement and satisfaction.
Applicants for the SVP of HR position at the company must have a minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with a focus on senior leadership in organizations with 300-500 employees.
A background in a manufacturing environment is not suitable for this role.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a remote/hybrid work setting.
The role requires an individual who can lead through an L&D lens to enhance employee development, and who is capable of overseeing the build-out of an in-house University.
