The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Senior Vice President, Project Manager in New York, NY, to serve as a liaison between clients and internal technical groups to ensure delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to specification. Measure and monitor program actuals, forecasts and budgets and update plans with accurate, up-to-date information in a timely manner. Follow financial standards & processes (e.g., monthly external revenue accruals, software capitalization, procurement & external payments). Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering (Any), Telecommunications Management, or a related field, and ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation. Ten (10) years of experience must include: Developing plans for large scale software implementations including the project's overall scope, task estimation, available resources and their allocations using Gantt Charts, Work Breakdown Structure & Project Baselines; Utilizing knowledge of SDLC methodologies and proficiency with MS Project, Atlassian Jira, Confluence, MS Office and SQL tools to practice Agile Methodology and Waterfall software development lifecycle processes; Managing program budget and yearly operating budget/plan using tools including Project & Portfolio Management systems; and Monitoring project costing throughout the program lifecycle for all the payments projects within the Treasury Services portfolio. The base salary range for this position is expected to be $175,200 - $185,000 per year at the commencement of employment. Base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
