Position Summary: The Video Production Specialist will play a pivotal role in bringing the SIG SAUER brand and products to life through captivating video content across a variety of channels from broadcast to social media. Reporting to the Director of Content and Production, this individual will be part of an internal team of content creators tasked with developing video content to support the organization's marketing, communication, training, and branding objectives. The Video Production Specialist must be able to contribute at all levels of and all aspects of video production from concept development to post-production. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Video Production: * Plan, execute, and lead video production projects from concept to completion, ensuring that all objectives and creative visions are met. * Operate cameras, lighting, and sound equipment to capture high-quality footage in various shooting environments. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals and creative concepts. * Interpret business requirements to best visually convey and market products, features and programs. * Manage creative process from inception to final edit to ensure creative vision and campaign objectives are met. * Conceptualize, storyboard, shot list, and execute video content. Content Creation: * Develop and create visually compelling video content that showcases SIG SAUER's products, brand, and core values. * Generate innovative content ideas and strategies that resonate with the firearms community and target audience. * Stay current with industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance content production. * Have a strong understanding of social media video content trends, and social media content management and development tools. (Canva, Slate, etc). Editing and post-production: * Act as the creative lead working with internal and external editors and to produce and deliver video content assets to support marketing initiatives. * Manage post-production process and schedule, developing timelines and working with project management team to ensure adherence to schedules and timing. Equipment & Studio Management: * Maintain and manage video equipment, ensuring that it is in excellent working condition. * Stay informed about the latest advancements in video production technology and recommend equipment upgrades as necessary. Quality Control: * Ensure that all produced content adheres to the brand standards and meets the expected quality, accuracy, and brand consistency. Education/Experience & Skills: * Must have a minimum of 5-8 years of proven experience in video production, with a portfolio showcasing previous work in video production. * Must be able to demonstrate experience and proficiency in various aspects of video production, such as scripting, filming, editing, and post-production, as well as the ability to create compelling content that aligns with marketing objectives. * A Bachelors Degree in film production, digital media, communications, marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience in video production. * Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar. * Experience with social media content creation, management and approval tools is extremely important. * A genuine passion for firearms and shooting sports is highly desirable. * Exceptional storytelling abilities with a talent for translating concepts into visually captivating content. * Knowledge of firearms and safe handling practices is a plus. * Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * A creative and innovative mindset, coupled with an ability to spot trends in media production. Working Conditions: * Working conditions will vary depending on type of position, (production, office, WFH, hybrid) * Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required. * Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. security mandates.
