Bixal has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Writer and Copy Editor and help accelerate digital transformation for federal and international clients. You will be part of a cross-functional team applying human-centered innovation and effective communication strategies to ensure that content across all client platforms meet content standards. You will also play a key role in the continuous evolution of the client's content standards and content design patterns. Collaborating directly with our federal partner, you'll harness relevant expertise and innovative strategies to drive large-scale enterprise transformation and create customer-centric experiences Important note This is a full-time position contingent on contract award by our client, with a defined performance period of up to two years and three months. \n ResponsibilitiesMaintain a focus on the user experience with all work producedManage highly collaborative work in a fast-paced environmentWork closely with federal partner to manage and prioritize the creation of content standards and to continuously evolve and improve the content style guide and content design patternsLead the continuous evolution and improvement of the content community of practice and relevant trainingsCollaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure centralized contentCopy edit high-priority work to ensure high quality and standardsCoach other copy editing members of the content team as necessary to maintain a high quality of workDevelop metric-driven reports on overall content standards work and progress Qualifications Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience, plus at least four years of relevant experience. Excellent writing and editing skills with a focus on digital content Excellent organizational skillsStrong understanding of human-centered design strategies, methods, and approachesExperience in the Drupal Content Management System (CMS), GitHub, Microsoft Word, and User Interface (UI) mockup tools like UX Pin and Sketch Nice to haveConsulting/agency experienceExperience working with Agile teamsPrevious work with federal government agencies or initiativesSpanish speaking and writing skills at a professional level
