Senior Zonal HIL Engineer
Job Description
In this role you'll own and design the HIL to support our Zonal architecture and be responsible to create HIL (hardware-in-the-loop) test strategies, test cases and scripts based on internal.
Responsibilities What you'll be able to do: Own and design the HIL to support our Zonal architectureCreate HIL (hardware-in-the-loop) test strategies, test cases and scripts based on internal and regulatory requirements.Set-up test equipment and run hands-on tests with the goal to automateSupport bug triage and analysisIdentify gaps in test coverage to ensure no future regressionsUtilize numerical data analysis tools to interpret test resultsDocument results and provide reportsEstablish traceability using requirement management tools and version control Qualifications The minimum requirements we seek: 5+ years of testing and validation experience.Bachelor/master's degree in Computer Science, electrical engineering, or similar.Working experience with Matlab SimulinkFamiliar with common vehicle controls theoryExperience setting up the HIL on dSPACE/Typhoon/similarKnowledge of lab instruments such as DMM, Oscilloscope, power supplies, and DAQsExpertise with industry standard I/O and communications interfaces, e.g., CAN, CAN-FD, LIN and EthernetExcellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills.Experience in Python scripting for any automation or test scripts.Expertise in testing any of the following: Vehicle Controls, Thermal Controls, Power Distribution, Body Controls Preferred Requirements: Experience with dSPACE and MotionDesk, CarSim, or similarExperience with Test management tools like DOORS/Polarion/JAMATest automation set up experience like CI/CD PipelineFamiliarity with diagnostics protocol like UDS ISO14229Knowledge/familiarity of standards ISO26262 and SAEJ1772Experience with automotive regulatory, environmental, reliability, and safety requirements. SAE, IEC, ISO. Estimated Min Rate: $60.00
Estimated Max Rate: $80.00
