Senior Zone Technology Expertsprovide expertise on automation, security, or fire products and systems and third-party systems to Zone staff. You'll create and deliver training and technical support for Field Technicians and Specialists and provide advanced technical assistance for sales activities.
As a Senior Zone Technology Expert, you will:
Diagnose, resolve, and report technical problems, network, software, and hosted-system malfunctions leveraging remote connectivity to expedite problem-solving with technicians and customers
Collaborate with other Zone Technology Experts to develop, share technical solutions, and maintain technical expertise on products, tools, and gateways through continuing education initiatives; mentor less experienced Zone Technical Experts and lead complex issues to resolution
Coach Field Technicians on company systems, service offerings, and provide technical sales assistance, support, and product demonstrations on the latest company products to Sales Executives
Stay current with building technology product documentation and communicate updates and design strategies to Field Technicians, Specialists, and Sales Executives
Provide a comprehensive monthly report to management detailing all activities performed, including sales support, technical and application support, training, and mentoring
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or state-recognized GED
5-7 years of experience in the building automation industry as a Specialist, Technician, or related role
5+ years of experience in installing or servicing electronic control systems
Understanding of the design of large, standard jobs and the role that tools, products, and practices play in that design
Strong knowledge of industry engineering fundamentals and business operations
Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering software applications
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree
3-5 years of experience with Desigo
7+ years of experience in the building automation industry as a Specialist, Technician, or related role
7+ years experience in installing or servicing electronic control systems
Microsoft, Cisco, EIT, ASHRE, NICET, or CISSP certifications
Proficient in Bluebeam Revu 2017 or Adobe Pro

The pay range for this position is $72,380 - $124,080 and the annual incentive is 5%. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
