Johnny Sanchez is looking for part time and full time servers to join our team! Johnny Sanchez exists to provide an escape from the hustle and bustle of Downtown New Orleans. We are searching for service-oriented professionals who understand gracious hospitality and enjoy providing exceptional service. If you enjoy working in a great atmosphere, we would love to talk to you. As a server you are responsible for leading our guests through their dining experience. You are the professional who knows the food, drink, wine, and spirits. Our guests look to you to help them make choices based on their likes and dislikes. The server position is far from taking orders and checking back with the guest occasionally. You are responsible for getting to know your guest and making sure the guest understands that you are there to ensure that they have a fantastic experience. We convey this through our actions. Work with a sense of urgency and purpose. When you are at a table the guest should receive your undivided attention. When discussing the menu with the guest, let your excitement, enthusiasm and personality shine through. We will always try to accommodate our guests to the best of our ability. We have a lot of resources at our fingertips.
Required :
Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have (or be in the process of obtaining) a valid alcohol serving permit (specific permit will vary by state). Must have excellent customer service and communication skills. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position (standing/walking for up to 12 hours, ability to lift up to 50 lbs). Must be able to work as part of a team, and get along well with guests and coworkers. Must be able to uphold company standards relating to appearance and dress.
Preferred :
High school graduate or GED. Previous serving experience is a plus.
