FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Department: Food and Beverage Reports to: Steakhouse Manager General Purpose:
To manage dining volume and business flow in such as way as to ensure the best possible food and service experience while accommodating the largest number of members possible.
Essential Duties: Maintain a welcoming, friendly, and professional demeanor throughout the shift.
Adress members by their last name and appropriate title or honorific.
Maintains a "members first" mentality Attends pre-shift meetings Ensures accurate orders, confirmed with guests and members Accurately places order in POS and communicates any special requests with BOH Displays in-depth menu knowledge Demonstrates excellent use of POS system and understanding of meal timing Knows basic cocktails, specialty cocktail menu and wines by the glass Demonstrates basic wine knowledge and wine service Ability to make recommendations and create a dining experience Ability to "upsell" but not be pushy Prepares items required for shift, including but not limited to glassware, flatware and items for next shifts Breaks down and resets/prepares for following shift Assists other team members and positions where practical or needed Maintains tables, side stations and restaurant areas throughout shift Acts proactively to avoid or remedy any potential issues Addresses any potential issues or concerns with management as soon as possible Education/Experience: Minimum Requirements
Six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination and experience.
Preferred Requirements/Skillset
•12 Months serving in a fast paced/high volume restaurant
•Excellent communication
•Ability to gain and convey product and menu knowledge
Physical Demands:
Frequently stands, walks, tastes, smells, talks, listens, uses hands, and reaches with hands and arms.
Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches.
Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
Available to work flexible hours.
Environment/Noise:
Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather), near moving mechanical parts, near fumes or airborne particles, with toxic or caustic chemicals and in extreme heat or cold (non-weather).
Noise level is moderate.

•Cellphones may not be used in certain work areas or specific periods and you may be required to store your phone should it be required by management.
Certificates/Licenses:
Food Safety and Applicable Sanitation Training.
RBS or equivalent Alcohol Awareness Training
This position is seasonal.
