LCRA is looking for an experienced Server and Storage Engineer to join our team. As part of our Operational Technology team, your expertise will contribute to building and maintaining mission critical computer systems in an organization that strives to enhance the quality of life of the Texans we serve. We are a team that thrives on attention to detail, cross training, and providing top notch support to our internal customers.
You will be trusted to:
- Build and maintain servers and workstations (Windows/Linux).
- Build and maintain virtualization platforms (VMware).
- Maintain network storage devices (NetApp).
- Review and install security related updates to system hardware and software.
- Support standard business applications (Active Directory, SharePoint, Exchange, SQL).
- Adhere to NERC-CIP Compliance program.
- Participate in On-Call rotation.
You qualify with:
- Six or more years of experience in system administration or other IT related field.
- A degree(s) in computer science, information technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
You are a great fit with:
- Degree in computer science, information technology or relevant field.
- Certification relevant to systems administration, storage or virtualization
- Intermediate to Advanced level of technical knowledge of VMware, Windows Server, SCCM, and Domain Administration.
