The Knolls of Oxford, a continuing care retirement community in Oxford, Ohio, is seeking Servers to work full-time or part-time our dining venues throughout the community.
Servers are primarily responsible for greeting guests, serving meals, delivering meals, and cleaning up after meal service.No prior experience is necessary!
The starting pay for this position is $15 per hour; pay is based on prior foodservice experience.
We are currently seeking Servers to work 7a-3p.
This position will require you to work some weekends and holidays.
Requirements:
Must be friendly, provide excellent customer service and consistently display a positive attitude, which fosters a teamwork environment!
Prior serving experience is preferred but not required.
As a Server your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greets residents/guests, distributes, and collects menus as necessary.
Maintains a high level of customer service throughout the meal experience.
Monitors food storage temperatures for department of health compliance.
Prepares dining room, trays, and other items as needed.
Serves meals that are palatable and appetizing.
Serves meals in a timely manner.
Serves meals in accordance with established portion control procedures.
Provides appropriate utensils, condiments, equipment etc.
to residents/guests during meal service.
Delivers food carts, trays, and supplies to designated areas in a timely manner.
Assists in serving meals for special occasions and catering events.
Prepares food supplies and equipment for the next meal.
Stores food and equipment in accordance with policy.
