Previous related experience is required for this position.Service Advisor - Job Responsibilities:Greet customers and assist them with service repair inquiries.Consult with customers on applicable service specials and present service menusDocument services declined and ask for follow-up on future service considerationsKeep customer informed on completion times, service expenses, and possible changesCreate and present repair estimates, dictating immediately needed services and future needed servicesDetermines Ford Warranty repairs, submitting required documents correctly and ensuring all warranty claims are paid in fullRemain involved with delivery of vehicle to customer upon completion to assure all customer concerns are addressedCollects payment, submits to fleet companies, and extended warranty companies for coverageProvide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether by phone or in person, to assure the customer has a positive service experienceBuild strong relationships with the customers and communicate well with all staff and customersService Advisor QualificationsService Advisor / Automotive Experience RequiredValid Driver's license and clean driving recordAble to work efficiently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Strong written and oral communication skillsExcellent computer and typing skills, must be fast / good with computersOrganizedEnjoy talking to people!Customer handling skillsTechnology / Bluetooth phone savvyAbility to overcome difficult objectives and scenarios with some time constraints - a problem solverPrior experience as a service advisorService Advisor Job Benefits: We provide a positive, professional work environment and training on the job.
