Service Center Branch Manager (CRL) Location Denver, CO : The Service Center Manager will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee operations activities in the local branch, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective processes to meet current and future needs of the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Developing and executing health and safety plans in the workplace according to company and legal guidelines. Preparing and enforcing policies to establish a culture of health and safety. Evaluating practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law. Drive the continuous improvement of processes and systems that will have continuing long-term benefits within the area. Responsible for management of branch P&L, expenditures to budget. Forecast requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiating corrective actions. Responds to customer's needs in a focused and service-oriented manner, quickly addressing issues to provide positive results, demonstrating knowledge of our customer's business needs and expectations, effectively applying knowledge and skills to problem-solve individual circumstances. Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, and quality standards; complete audits; identify trends. Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities. Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals. Delegate responsibility and expect accountability with regular feedback. Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among team members that allows for disagreement over ideas, conflict and expeditious conflict resolution, and the appreciation of diversity as well as cohesiveness, support, and working effectively together to enable each employee and the department to succeed. Position Requirements Bachelor's Degree required Industry experience preferred 5+ years sale management experience in industrial or construction environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software. SAP experience a plus. A minimum of 5-year previous leadership experience; glass industry preferred Strong organizational and listening skills Ability to work independently and prioritize work with deadlines Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment to meet required deadlines Utilizes strong time management and organizational skills to successfully multi-task Must be able to communicate effectively and conduct themselves professionally, with excellent written and verbal communications Work Environment Primarily works in a warehouse/office environment. Some duties may involve being in a plant environment where noise levels can be moderate to high and be subject to the same general climate conditions of the region (heat, cold, humidity, etc.). Chemicals, dust, pollen and other typical airborne particulate matter are present within the atmosphere of the production floor and may create some odors in the plant. The Company, in an effort to provide its employees with a safe and healthy working environment, limits exposure to chemicals through written procedures, engineering controls and PPE. While the chemical exposure and odors are under acceptable levels set by OSHA and the WCB, they nevertheless, can be smelled and are handled according to the company's hazardous communication program.
