Job Overview Summary/Objective
The Porter keeps designated department area and outside vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars in accordance with company and manufactures' policies and assisting with inventory paperwork among other duties.
Essential Functions Drives vehicles to and from showroom, exterior vehicle display areas, service department, parking garage or other storage areas to designated location as needed to maintain inventory and assist customers and other dealership employees in retrieval of vehiclesEnsures all required documentation is placed in vehicles, including but not limited to window stickers, manuals, promotional materialsCreates key tags for vehicles, organizes and maintains keys for new, used and loaner vehiclesDelivers keys and other materials various departments on requestGreets customers in a friendly and professional mannerPerforms general cleanup of vehicles including dusting, vacuuming, wiping and rinsingKeeps vehicle lot(s) neat and organizedMaintains cleanliness of designated departmentShuttles customers as neededFills vehicle with fuelOperates all tools and equipment in a safe mannerUses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protectionUnderstands and follows work rules and proceduresFollows all attendance and punctuality standards with adherence to timekeeping standards including recording time of arrival, departure and all breaks.Follows lawful directions from supervisorsUpholds the company's non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreementsAttends company meetings as required.Works evening, weekend, and holiday work hours as requiredMaintains a professional appearance and a neat work area in accordance with company policyOther duties as assigned Other Duties

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Standard business hours with ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
Preferred Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent; six months or more of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications (Certification/Licenses/Registrations)
Valid driver's license
Individuals under the age of eighteen (18) may not drive vehicles off of the dealership premises.
