Service Writer

Job Summary:

The Service Writer serves as the primary customer contact to promote quality customer service and drive business growth within the branch location.


Key Responsibilities: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, both on the phone and in-person, fostering positive relationships with key clients.
Analyze customer needs, gather relevant information, and open work orders; provide quotes, develop claims, prepare repair plans, schedule work, and update customers on the status of repairs.
Create complex work orders, including diagnostic plans, quotes, and repair plans, by assessing parts and labor availability; review plans with the Service Supervisor/Team Lead prior to customer contact.
Collaborate with the Service Supervisor and/or Team Lead to schedule job assignments efficiently.
Resolve customer concerns regarding Client' or distributor warranties and explain charges transparently.
Monitor key performance metrics for the workshop, including labor productivity and customer satisfaction.
Top 3 Skills: Strong customer-facing skills.
Experience in a dealership or similar field.
Proficiency in computer systems and software.
