Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the Fabrication Set-Up is to safely and efficiently perform top-quality operational duties on a daily basis which include (but are not limited to) the following:
Set up and operate the CNC machine, pipe cutter and any other machinery needed for all parts.Keep all machines clean and in safe operating condition.Assist the fabricators in any way needed to complete the secondary operation.Help material handler with moving finished goods to the warehouse.Other duties may be assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Qualifications: Must be knowledgeable of the functions of the fabrication department. Able to operate PIT equipment.
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend sufficient English to follow work instructions. Legible writing.
Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical skills and counting ability required.
Reasoning Ability: Must be able to interact and solve problems with little supervision. Take instructions from the Supervisor or Manager.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Powered Industrial Truck licenses.

Training Requirements: General Job Duties: Knowledgeable of how to set-up and support the various production machines in the department.Line Operation: Responsible for keeping Fabrication department equipment running/usable.Quality Control & Auditing: Employees are trained on defective parts and how to verify counts, part numbers, pallet quantity, etc.
