Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology and Telecommunications ("Kelly SETT") are currently seeking aspiring, early-career sales professionals to join high performing teams in a business unit specific sales model, beginning with a month-long, fully paid, full-time training program in Waltham, MA.
Employees will work within one of the established SETT Business Units –Scientific ("Kelly Science and Clinical"), Engineering ("Kelly Engineering"), or Information and Engineering Technology ("Softworld").

A targeted interest in Business-to-Business/B2B professional sales and staffing is required.

These positions begin with several weeks of fully paid professional services training on all aspects of Staffing and Consulting. High level overview of the training content includes classroom instruction, job-shadowing, role plays, business and technology overviews and other topics. Detailed information on the training content is available upon request.

Following the training program, Sales Associates will begin a 9-12 month, flexibly tailored professional development path within the staffing and professional services industry, moving towards becoming a fully independent Business Development Account Manager by the end of the year-long program.

Job Responsibilities

– 1st Year Training
Learn and master staffing industry fundamentals, under guidance from senior Program Executive and Training Leadership.
Perform full life cycle recruiting for open job orders, under the direction of Program Trainer. Responsibilities during this phase include qualifying candidates over the phone, submitting candidates to open job orders and guiding them through the hiring process.
Progress into Sales Enablement, providing support for senior sales professionals. Responsibilities during this phase include identifying, developing and deepening staffing industry client relationships through market research, meeting/lead generation, data health documentation, external client support and internal sales support.
Transition into Business Development; Responsibilities will ultimately entail establishing your own client relationships, selling staffing and consulting services for your designated SETT brand, Softworld, Kelly Engineering and/or Kelly Science and Clinical.

Job Responsibilities - Business Development
Source qualified contract and permanent job requisitions.
Generate Master Services Agreements with clients in support of current and future staffing and consulting business unit opportunities.
Meet or exceed activity, profitability, financial and career growth goals as set by your manager.
Maintain strong knowledge of staffing and professional services markets.
Negotiate terms of staffing and professional services business with clients.
Assist and train with more senior sales professionals.
Develop strong internal relationships with recruiting partners to qualify job requirements and deliver consultants to business unit clients.
Stay up to date on trends within the industries and technology sectors that you support.

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree is preferred. Business, Psychology, Marketing, Communication majors preferred, but any fields will be considered. Relevant life/personal experience and temperament, in lieu of a completed degree will also be considered.
Specific interest in sales and new business development within professional services and staffing.
6 months-3 years working in a corporate setting via professional experience and/or internships is preferred.
Specific interest in a "Base Salary Plus" compensation model, where commission and performance bonuses ultimately make up a significant component of your income.
Academic, internship and/or professional sales/business development experience is strongly preferred.
Academic or professional exposure to recruiting elements of corporate HR is a plus.
Ability to proactively promote business unit to support our customer base.
Strong analytical and organizational skills to be comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Must be a goal-oriented team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.
