As a ViaQuest Shared Living Caregiver, you will receive:
$100 to $150 per day that you won't have to pay taxes on Paid time off Room and board payments Free training in skills like CPR, First Aid, and Crisis Intervention Tools and 24/7 support to easily manage your work, billing, and reporting Chances to work and have free time when the person cared for is participating in other community services
As a Shared Living Caregiver with ViaQuest, your responsibilities include:
Keeping your home organized, clean, and safe Providing emotional support, patience, consistency, and understanding Using good communication, problem-solving, and advocacy skills Helping with daily tasks like bathing, cleaning, cooking, and transportation Planning medical appointments and fun social activities Documenting some important things you do and unusual things that happen
You can also become a ViaQuest Shared Living Caregiver for a friend or family member who receives an IO Waiver from an Ohio County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services.
