Overview Abacus Technology is seeking a SharePoint Administrator to provide site management and support for Fort Johnson. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities Provide SharePoint Development Services to the Fort Johnson NEC. Implement and develop SharePoint templates and customize SharePoint graphical user interfaces. Construct new pages, create new web parts to extend SharePoint functionality in order to increase NEC process efficiency. Input links to external resources for reference, for example, resources such as General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), and Army Computer Hardware Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS). Customize workflows and web part development for customers. Support Government requirements with SharePoint and implementation. Configure and maintain SharePoint Services for creating, managing, and sharing documents and web services to enable users to use shared workspaces other documents accessible through a web browser. Develop SharePoint templates and customize SharePoint to simplify and facilitate collaboration. Manage document life cycle with coordination through COR and Government Knowledge Manager. Assist in developing complex products and services and define feasibility of solutions and their implementation. Identify improvements with existing systems and processes and identify software and services to be developed. Elicit functional requirements for a solution, conduct research to evaluate potential solutions, and verify the functionality of final solutions. Assist in the preparation of manuals, reports, and technical documentation. Qualifications 6+ years experience in SharePoint administration and management. Bachelor's degree in a related field desired. Must be Security+ certified. Experience performing administrative tasks on a SharePoint server farm. Experience with SharePoint 2013, 2016, and SharePoint Online. Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining servers with Microsoft Windows Server 2012R2, and 2016. Experience and creativity and know-how to support onsite personnel in the management and implementation of SharePoint portals. Able to enhance the look, feel and functionality of the SharePoint sites. Experience maintaining SharePoint environments, including patching, back up and recover, administrative reporting, content management, and site management. Experience creating, updating and removing SharePoint components, including sites, pages, libraries, lists, workflows and web parts. Must have excellent communication skills. Able to work independently or as part of a team and interact professionally within all levels of an organization. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
