Sharepoint Developer

US Citizenship is required for this position. SharePoint and Power Platform Developer to support the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) in digitizing and automating paper-based records. This 12+ month contract involves creating and managing SharePoint sites, developing workflows, and ensuring seamless integration of records management solutions. This is a REMOTE position that will require the selected candidate to go into the office in Richmond, VA on occasion as requested.
Key Responsibilities: Advise VDH on SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform features. Implement an agency-wide records and document management automation system. Collaborate with stakeholders for consistent, user-friendly design and implementation. Apply records management principles based on customer requirements. Create complex workflows and business processes using Power Automate. Ensure 508 compliance and adhere to VDH design standards. Troubleshoot security issues and address customer inquiries. Develop a SharePoint Records Center with retention labels and workflows. Comply with existing security protocols and guidelines. Facilitate training and educational opportunities for end-users. Requirements: 5+ years as a SharePoint and/or Microsoft Power Platform Developer. 3+ years in UI and UX design. Experience developing custom SharePoint solutions and managing Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance Center. Proficiency in Power Platform components (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, etc.). Additional Requirements: Local candidates preferred.
