Sheet Metal Estimator

** DIRECT HIRE ONLY - NO Recruiters - NO Phone Calls ** Prospects for consideration may be EMAILED to Job description Responsible for determining the total cost of a sheet metal project — including time, materials, and labor – to produce competitive quotes for jobs while controlling costs, improving efficiencies, and impacting business growth.
Analyzing customer prints, specifications, purchase orders, RFQs, and other documentation to develop optimal manufacturing process and methods, to prepare competitive pricing for customer orders and RFQs Computing cost and time factors and preparing estimates within Excel and ERP system in response to customer orders and RFQ's. Reviewing data to determine material and labor requirements. Collaboration with Customer Solutions and Engineering departments, including manufacturing feasibility and lead-time optimization Review POs, new prints, and updating pricing of existing jobs. Participate in development and maintenance of the estimating department processes and Requirements :
Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree, or equivalent experience 2 or more years in estimating sheet metal fabrications Extensive metal fabricating blueprint reading and the ability to interpret and analyze specifications and tolerances Knowledge of metal fabrication processes
