Your New Role As a Sheet Metal Journeyman: Spend 50% of your time fabricating in the shop and 50% in the field, primarily within Sarasota and Manatee counties.
Interpret blueprints and job orders, order materials to maintain an efficient workflow, and establish work sequences to meet construction schedules.
Measure, fabricate, and skillfully work with ductwork using tools, metals, and machinery.
Sort, lay out, assemble, and seal materials, adjusting work sequences as needed.
Estimate man-hour requirements and maintain a safe working environment.

Valid Florida driver's license with an acceptable driving record and ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
Five years of experience in sheet metal installation and fabrication, with experience in welding.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Good coordination, physical fitness, and dexterity, with the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to pass a shop-based skills test.
