+ We are hiring immediately for a full time SHIFT SUPERVISOR position.
+ Location: UChicago AdventHealth Bolingbrook - 500 Remington Boulevard, Bolingbrook, IL 60440 Note: online applications accepted only.
+ Schedule: Full time schedule.
Monday - Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm and 11:30 am to 8:00 pm.
Rotating weekends and holidays; more details upon interview.
+ Requirement: Previous food service experience is required.
Supervisory experience is preferred.
+ The position will assist the supervisor and management team overseeing room-service style patient tray line for a 125-bed hospital.
+ This position will also assist in other areas of the department as needed (cafeteria, food production, catering, back office, etc.).
+ Perks: Weekend/Holiday shift differential, 401k plan, full benefits, PTO after 90 days of employment!!
+ Pay Range: $19.50 to $20.00

Job Summary
Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
+ Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
+ Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
+ Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
+ May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
