This role is at our intellirent division, which is focused on the Power and Electrical market, located in Roanoke, TX.
This position will be located onsite at our intellirent facility in Roanoke TX. Position Summary: The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is Responsible for shipping, packaging, processing and loading of outgoing orders, stock transfers and miscellaneous shipments for intellirent.
Unloads, unpacks and processes incoming shipments in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Performs visual inspections prior to receiving, stocking or shipping of equipment to check for damage and missing accessories.
Enters data into the company's database and maintains documentation related to all incoming, stocking and outgoing transactions to ensure proper inventory control.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for handling, receiving, shipping and stocking equipment according to Company policies and procedures.Enter all incoming and outgoing orders and stock transfers into the Company's data base.Visually inspects equipment for damage, cleanliness and complete accessories.Ensures incoming equipment is routed as required by type of transaction and product segment.Maintains documents and files.
Orders shipping supplies as needed.May be required to deliver and pick up equipment at the customer's sitePerforms special inventory projects and performs other tasks when required.
May help maintain delivery vehicles in safe and clean operating condition.
Qualifications:
Must be PC literate with good data entry and keyboarding skills.Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to simultaneously work multiple assigned.
Ability to perform the required physical elements of the job (listed below).Must be able to access, input and retrieve data from the Company computer system.May require a good driving record and insurability under the company's liability insurance.Availability for overtime work as required.Good written and oral communication skills.
