WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, your job purpose is to oversee the efficient and accurate handling of incoming material and outgoing shipments.
This includes coordinating shipments, ensuring timely delivery of products, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
Your role is essential in ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction through effective coordination and communication with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams.
Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment.Maintain and update records of materials, customer requests, and distribution.
Receive, unpack, inspect and store incoming materials and supplies.Receipt of returned material.Collaborate with document owners on appropriate receiving instructions.Use shipping records to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders.Document damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation.Prepare import/export documents in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Work independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.Support movement between warehouses.Other jobs as needed in the Operations Department, including supporting inventory management, material control and purchasing as needed WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE 1+ years of related experience Experience shipping internationallyFast learner and able to follow documented procedures for domestic and international shipments.Professionalism while dealing with suppliers and vendors Able to work independently with minimal oversight Strong written and verbal communication skillsAble to work in a dynamic and quickly changing environment Comfortable taking on responsibilities as needed Collaborative attitude and willingness to work with others throughout the organization EDUCATION High School diploma or equivalent.
