Job Summary

To receive, check in, ship out pump, pump components and other industrial components.
Must perform work that results in timely and quality products..

Responsibilities and Duties Receive in and ship out raw material, components and heavy equipment to/from customers and suppliers.
Enter data into the site's business system.
Maintain a high degree of material traceability by tagging and documenting all incoming and outgoing shipments.
Arrange inbound and outbound domestic shipments using hot shot and common carrier shipments as well as international shipments requiring customs clearance.
Prepare packing list, weighs and stencils boxes and skids, prepares bills of lading and logs incoming and outgoing shipments.
Builds boxes, crates and skids using dimensional lumber.
Requires ability to choose appropriate lumber and fasteners to ensure safety of equipment being shipped and persons handling shipment.
Loads and unloads trucks and trailers as required Expected to keep a well organized area and ability to implement 5S practices within the assigned work area.
Must have the ability to read, understand and follow procedures and work instructions.
Other duties as assigned by supervision, including, but not limited to general housekeeping duties, general maintenance, painting and assisting mechanics with teardown and assembly of pump equipment.
Qualifications and Skills

Must be able to read and write English, with high school diploma or GED.
Good computer skills.
Experience with forklifts and overhead cranes.
Must be reliable, dependable, and able to work overtime as required.
Requires good math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide.

Incumbents in this classification are required to stand and walk throughout an 8 hour workday.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs consistently.
The requirements of this position include close vision and, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to repetitively use arms, hands, and fingers in the manipulation of parts.
Must demonstrate good hand/eye coordination.
Must demonstrate good manual dexterity.
