Job Description: The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a safety principled role. Experience in a shipyard and ship repair work environment is a plus.
Responsibilities: Knowledge of vessel structure, location, and spaces is a plus.Knowledge of current OSHA standards.OSHA Maritime Certified or willing to become certified within 3 months of employment.Basic computer skills.Shipyard Competent Person Certified.Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.Available to work on a rotational schedule (Monday through Sunday) from 7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.Compensation: Pay commensurate with experience (hourly position).
